NEW LIPOSUCTION TECHNOLOGY:
Body Jet, a new device for liposuction was introduced
into our practice in the fall of 2009 – we have spent the past 6 months evaluating
this technology and have been impressed that it is a more gentle liposuction
technique, which requires less anesthesia and makes the overall patient experience
much easier! But,
equally as impressive is the use of this device to obtain living fat cells
from a patient to be used for transfer to another area. This approach
has produced our best fat grafting results.

demonstrates the importance of accreditation of office surgical facilities.
There were 23 deaths in 1.1 million procedures and only one of those deaths
was due to an interoperative adverse event. These statistics show the safety
of surgery performed in an AAAASF accredited facility.
