If you are considering plastic surgery, make sure the surgeon you pick is a board certified plastic surgeon.
You might think that a physician has the proper training, credentials, and experience to provide the service you need or want; however, any physician may call himself/herself a plastic surgeon or cosmetic surgeon with training. One does expect a board-certified plastic surgeon has gone through a broad and rigorous training program, to have adequate surgical experience, and to have passed both written and oral objective testing.
At North Dallas Plastic Surgery, we feel that obtaining information about credentials and hospital privileges must be part of your decision in selecting a particular plastic surgeon. Dr. Harlan Pollock and Dr. Todd A. Pollock are each board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and members in good standing in the American Society of Plastic Surgery. They have hospital privileges at several Dallas and Allen area hospitals to perform all of the procedures and some are offered in our accredited office surgical suite.
