An article published this month in the LA Times talks about the idea of couples cosmetic surgery: once one has a procedure done then the other is likely to get one, too.
We think this is merely marketing hype, plain and simple. One would hope that anyone having surgery would have a deeper motivation than “while we’re here I will have something done too….”
In our practice, we have not seen such a “couples” phenomenon!
